Sports Nutritionist & Dietitian in Newcastle
Professional nutrition advice for athletic performance, health & real life.
I’m a Registered Dietitian and SENr-accredited Sports Nutritionist supporting athletes and active individuals with nutrition for sports performance, health and everyday life.
My approach combines evidence-based sports nutrition with extensive clinical dietetic experience. Support is practical, individualised and designed to fit around your training, health needs and wider lifestyle.
I work with athletes across a range of sports and performance levels, including those seeking support with endurance nutrition, training and competition fuelling, recovery, gastrointestinal symptoms, body composition and athlete health.
I also provide nutrition support for athletes experiencing chronic under-fuelling, low energy availability or concerns associated with Relative Energy Deficiency in Sport (REDs).
Where medical, psychological or eating-disorder concerns require input beyond the scope of sports nutrition support, I will recommend involvement from an appropriately qualified healthcare professional or specialist service.
I offer in person clinics in Ponteland, Newcastle-Upon-Tyne and virtual consultations for clients nationwide.
Registered, accredited sports dietitian with experience across performance sport and clinical nutrition.
I work within evidence-based guidelines and continually update my practice through professional development and postgraduate study.
My ethos: Performance, without compromise.
“I aim to support sports and lifestyle performance with a focus on long-term health, allowing you to perform better and promoting longevity in sport.”
Nutrition that supports performance and long-term athlete health.
Good sports nutrition is not only about race-day fuelling or short-term results. It should also support recovery, bone health, hormonal function, immunity, training consistency and a sustainable relationship with food.
With a clinical background, my approach prioritises nutrition for physical health, psychological wellbeing and sustainable outcomes. I have a particular interest in athlete health across the lifespan. This includes supporting development of strong foundations and positive relationships with food. I help athletes identify where their current intake may not be meeting the demands of training and put practical strategies in place to improve fuelling and recovery.
This may include support with persistent under-fuelling, low energy availability and nutritional concerns associated with REDs. Because these symptoms can have several possible causes, medical assessment or wider multidisciplinary input may also be recommended.
Whether working with competitive athletes or individuals focused on health, my aim is to support outcomes that are personalised, measurable and sustainable.
