Nutrition support is available for sports performance, women’s health, health and lifestyle goals, body composition and athlete health.
All new clients start with an initial assessment. You do not need to choose a package before booking — we can agree the most appropriate level of support during your appointment.

A brief, no-obligation conversation to discuss your goals, the support you are looking for and whether RJ Performance Nutrition is the right fit.
An enquiry call is not a clinical consultation and does not include individual nutrition advice.
Individual appointments
Initial assessment

- £105
A comprehensive review of your nutrition, health, lifestyle, activity and goals, followed by clear, personalised recommendations, a written summary and tailored supporting resources.

Follow-up appointment

Review progress, work through any barriers and adapt your nutrition plan as your health, lifestyle, training or goals change.
High Performance Nutrition Programme
- Nutrition planned around the way you train Initial assessment and first month
- £180 Monthly thereafter
- £100 per month
Individualised nutrition support for athletes who want their day-to-day intake, training nutrition and race preparation planned together.
Rather than receiving a static nutrition plan, your recommendations are mapped against your training schedule using TrainingPeaks or another agreed platform. Your plan can then be adapted as your training load, sessions and competition priorities change.
The programme includes:
- Daily nutrition and meal planning around your training schedule
- Fuelling guidance for key sessions and longer training days
- Recovery nutrition matched to session demands
- Race-fuelling, hydration and carbohydrate-loading strategies
- Practical meal and snack options based on your routine
- Monthly virtual or in person review
- Ongoing communication between reviews
- Updates as training, health or competition plans change
Designed for athletes following a structured training programme who want flexible, ongoing nutrition support tailored to their sport, training, health and performance goals.

Nutrition packages
Packages provide a structured period of support and a small saving compared with booking appointments separately.

- £340

Where indicated, I may recommend input from your GP, sports medicine, psychology or another appropriately qualified healthcare professional as part of multidisciplinary care. Medical, psychological or eating-disorder support may be needed alongside nutrition input.
Which option should I choose?
A single initial assessment may be enough if you want expert guidance and feel confident putting the recommendations into practice independently.
A package provides time to review and refine your plan. The High Performance Nutrition Programme provides more detailed, ongoing support that adapts alongside your training. You do not need to decide before booking. We can agree the most appropriate option during your initial assessment.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to choose a package before booking?
No. All new clients start with an initial assessment. We can then agree whether a follow-up, package or ongoing programme would be most useful.
Are appointments available online?
Yes. Nutrition appointments and ongoing support are available online across the UK. In-person appointments are available in Ponteland, Newcastle.
Can I book a follow-up without an initial assessment?
Follow-ups are for existing clients. New clients normally begin with an initial assessment so recommendations can be based on a full nutrition, health and lifestyle history.
Can body composition analysis be completed online?
No. ISAK skinfold and anthropometric assessment is available in person only.
Do packages need to be paid in full?
Payment arrangements will be confirmed when booking. Please ask during your enquiry call or initial assessment if you would like to discuss the available options.
Can private health insurance cover appointments?
Some dietetic consultations may be covered depending on your provider and policy. Please check directly with your insurer before booking.
What if a package is not appropriate for me?
I will recommend the support that best fits your needs. Where medical, psychological or other specialist input is indicated, this will be discussed openly and appropriate next steps suggested.
